What is Photo Foodies?

Finally a Place to Store All Your Food Photos!

Are you constantly taking pictures of your food? Do you have a growing collection of food photos that you don't know what to do with? Photo Foodies is here to help you collect, organize, and share all your food photos. This is a great way to keep track of those delicious dishes you want to enjoy again. Simple create an account, and upload photos from your mobile phone the minute you take them! It's as easy as:

  1. Create an account (It's free!)
  2. Upload photos from your mobile phone (or anywhere) by sending them to an email address (you'll be given the address when you create an account)
  3. The subject of the email should be the name of your dish
  4. Include a description of your dish or any notes you want to remember in the body of the email - these will be displayed alongside the photo.

Your photo will automatically be added to and featured on the site. You can login to manage all your food photos, categorize them by restaurant name, ingredients, and more, and view photos of similar dishes others have added.

Want to Know What a Dish Looks Like?

Eating at a local restaurant and curious what your food is going to look like? As Photo Foodies grows, the hope is that more and more restaurant dish photos will become available, and soon it will be possible for you to see a "visual menu" of your favorite restaurant dishes.

Keep Track of Your Foodie Creations

Another great way to use Photo Foodies is to take photos, from your kitchen, of your own food creations. Add foodie notes to help you remember what worked and what didn't, and what you might want to try next time. Then, share your creations with the community and help others discover delicious new dishes.

But above all, have fun!
