What is Local Dish?

Local Dish Winston-Salem is a local group started by Susan Morris that has inspired PhotoFoodies.com. It enjoys its own dedicated section on Photo Foodies.

Local Dish Rules

Local Dish is unique on PhotoFoodies.com, and has its own set of rules.

Local Dish is a place where people can make positive comments and recommend favorite dishes at locally owned restaurants/bars in Winston-Salem, NC. We are looking for the good, the great, and the best only so no negative comments.

*If there is something that you don't like at a local restaurant, tell them so that they can make it better. They would appreciate your feedback, if you tell them nicely.

Please give a description of the food that you ate and upload pictures of your meals!

Blog posts and contributions should be about local restaurants/cafes/bars only. Please refrain from writing about home cooking or restaurant chains. Exceptions would be if they were started locally, (i.e. Krispy Kreme, Village Tavern, Big Shotz, Kernal Kustard) or if you had a local restaurant cater something to your home or event.

If you are the owner of a local restaurant, this is NOT a place for you to advertise your restaurant. This is a place for "the people" to advertise your restaurant. Tell your customers to post something here if they liked it. Exception: You may post a picture of a food item and its menu description if someone posted something about a menu item without a photo.
